The Six Attitudes of High Achievers
John R. Roe

1.Make no small plans:PLAN BIG
Everyone has plans for the future on what they want to do for a living. Many are inspired or just thought of being what they want to be in life. Whether it's being a police officer or a doctor, we would all strive for our dreams. Some have small plans for there future like," I'm going to graduate high school and get a job from there, college is too much for me." While others plan big on there future like,"I'm going to graduate high school with honors, graduate from a university, travel, have fun, per sue my dream job, get a family, and die happy. We all have simple and small plans that go straight to the point. Others have big plans for there future like learning something new or visit family from far away or travel. If anything, I also have small plans for my future, but once there is something I'm interested in, I'll add it to my plans for the future. Making my plans bigger and bigger along the way. It's natural to start off small and go big, what's funny is that many young children plan there future with very big plans in mind as well and start sharing those plans with family. I still have more plans in mind, I wonder if many people are finished planning and are actually putting it to affect. Well it's good to plan, since it's all about you.
2. High Achievers:
Achieving high is a very hard challenge. For some, it's just a walk in the park and will find out, that it would be very difficult to try. Others will find it difficult as is and stay average. A high achiever is more like a choice for everyone. Either stay average and graduate, or be a high achiever and not only graduate, but in high honors and many people remembering that you strive for greatness. Why not go for that chance. It will benefit you to strive high, you learn a lot, you will be noticed, colleges or universities would want you etc. Average is not bad, think of it as a better chance of getting accepted to college. Achieving a good life for you. There will be more work and assignments, there be a lot of studying, there will be many tests, but showing that you can do it can really benefit your future.

3.High Achievers are willing to prepare:
Achieving for anything is less saying and more doing. Saying that you will achieve this and achieve that is pretty easy to say. But hard actually attempting to do it. Every high achiever needs to prepare for what they are willing to do. Running a mile in under 7 minutes, you got to prepare before doing it. Going to your dream college or university, got to prepare. By that I mean make sure you have your recommended supplies. Kept your ego in check etc. It's not easy when it happens all of a sudden. That's why you got to be ready, for when that happens, you know what to do from there.

4.High achievers are willing to risk failure:
Achieving high requires much effort. You have to really have dedication and focus to achieve what you want to achieve. But perfection doesn't always happen. For you, it can be doing a test and you studied your hardest, but end up getting an average or below average. You will come across failure but you shouldn't let stay inside you. Learn from it, and try again on the next test. Going high can lead to failure or success, but you must be willing to risk failure to aim for success. For example," If you pass this test, you are all guaranteed to pass the class. Failure however can lead to to an F and have to take summer school. Now matter what grade you have, this will apply to everyone.

5. High Achievers are teachable:
High achievers are teachable. They are willing to understand the assignment and help other kids that need help and don't get what they have to do. They aren't afraid to get out thee and make new friends. They are able to go in front of the classroom and teach the whole class if they were able to. They have the ability to learn and and then after they get it, they can go and teach their classmates or parents etc. They can tell the whole wide world the new things that they learned in school. For example in 1st grade when the teacher is teaching the kids to count from 0-10. If the teacher sees that one student know the method on how to get their then she and/or he will send the kid to help another classmate that is struggling with the math. That's someone who is teachable. He and/or she is able to explain what they learned to someone else with no problem. They can be a mini teacher for all the other student as well.  In the picture I have chosen, it states "Be TEACHABLE. open your mind, learn and grow. The more you listen, the more you know." This talks about how if you have the ability to be open minded, then you will be able to learn anything. The more that you go out and learn, the more things you will know for later on in the future. Knowing more things will help you grow as well. For example, when you go to college and study really hard on the bones and muscles to become a Doctor, it will pay off for when you are helping a patient. All the other people that didn't take the time to study will be confused. That's when you know that you had the time to open your mind, learn and grow.

6. High Achievers have heart:High achievers have a heart. No matter what problems they might be going through, they still manage to keep a smile on their face. They always want to help when someone isn't feeling good or they're feeling sad. They can be going through many problems themselves but will still be there for you. If they see someone in need of help with grocery, they won't hesitate to walk over to them and offer to help them take it. They will always want to do good in life and never bad. They will choose the right when it comes to something. If they see trash or a bottle on the floor, they don't wait for someone to tell them to pick it up. They will pick it up themselves and throw it away because it's the right thing to do. Another example would be when they volunteer at a hospital or a can food drive. They want to help out and show that they actually want to be a part of their community. Being involved is a way to show that you have a heart because it shows to other people that you care about making the world a better place. Don't hesitate to do good. "The real beauty of someone is one with a good heart." This quote is saying that it doesn't matter about your insecurities that you might have, if you don't have a good heart then people won't like you

9 ways to be happy and make something of your life
Gordon B. Hinckley
1. Be Grateful
Everyone feels grateful for something. Whether its being grateful about your family for supporting you your whole life. It could the true friends you have and the good they have done with you. Having an amazing talent is another thing to be grateful about. Whether playing a sport, singing, drawing, playing an instrument, etc. There is always things to be grateful about in daily basis. Me, I'm grateful for Mix Martial Arts. Ever since my first class I would sweat very much, but boy is it worth it. You get to learn new moves with drills they provide and demonstrations. I've been learning a lot about the class and will help me to defend myself in a fight. I'm grateful for my drawing abilities. I was younger when I saw my dad doing amazing work on the wall. I noticed that he wasn't just repainting, he was drawing a huge sketch of the Virgin Mary. At first, I never thought my dad could do such an amazing sketch or even draw at all, I was inspired and decided to give it a try and I would always feel proud of every time I sketched because I know it's amazing and worth it. But most of all, I'm grateful for my family, I wouldn't have been me if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't draw if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't love if it wasn't for them, and that is my hardworking father and caring mother who took care of me on my first day of life.
2. Be Smart
I feel that everyone in the whole world is very smart. Smart on a subject or smart on socializing or video games. Everyone are smart on whatever it is and even more than just one. It just depends how much effort you put into it. You make the decision whether you want to learn more, learn what you need to, or not learn at all. There are a few that are smart but doesn't show. Laziness got to the or being a mean person got to them. I noticed a few students would fool around in class and get bad grades, but once they actually cared about there future for once, they showed there true potentials. It was shocking at first and it comes to mind like,"why didn't I do this in the first place". If only they didn't slack off in the first place, they would have got an A+ on every subject guaranteed. You have to be smart about your life and don't make such foolish decisions, make a smart choice. Like I said, everyone is very smart, you decide what to do next.
3. Be Involved
Being involved can mainly be about volunteering for anything. One of which is being involved in a charity. That's not a bad place to be at but a wonderful thing. It makes you feel proud of yourself for the things you help with in the charity. Another one can be activities in school or at home. Its always better with more people being involved in the activities. Most commonly ones is at school. The school always offer amazing opportunities to every student. Whether its being president, vice president, treasure, etc. Also being involved with your table group, without you being involved the whole group will get a bad grade so participating at your fullest will help. Who knows, you could actually be a very amazing leader or a team player that can change everything and get a good score. Community hours is another thing, we all have to do community hours, at least 10 hours at the most. Being involved with the community can help with that and will also benefit you. It can make you more of an active person than you were before and makes you feel good on the inside for the good things you did while being there.

4. Be Clean
This one can be a little hard to understand at first. Being clean can mean in general or something else. If anything I'm just going to type what are think are examples of,"being clean."
One big one that I had in mind was drugs. Bad people always do drugs or just those that are desperate aren't clean. If they were truly clean, they wouldn't feel that side effects or even continue using drugs. Being clean from that sort of thing will make you very healthy and responsible person. Another thing is crime or bad behavior. Doing the wrong is not the right thing to do. People will look down on you and will dislike you. I want everyone to be clean of the wrongdoing. Then the whole world will be truly at peace.
5. Be True
What does that mean exactly? To be honest it kind of confused me in a way. Now that I think about it, it can mean many things. Being true can mean, being true to yourself. Tell people the truth and don't say lie's about your life. People will accept you even better if you be true to yourself and be how you always are in general. Be true to your friends and family. It's better to be true than to regret something you did later. Family is very important because you see them everyday, always be true with your family. Friends is also important since you see them in school or neighbor hood and sometimes in the weekend or free time. To maintain that friendship, be true to them as if they were your family. Be true to yourself every step of the way.

6. Be Positive
Going straight to your can be a hassle, much work to be done to achieve your dream. From being a Doctor to being a Police Officer, there is always work to be done which can leave you frustrated. Although it can change, especially if you already are achieving your dream or close, is to be positive. Being positive can change the outcome of how almost anything will turn out. Thinking negative can result in lack confidence and doubting your life making decisions. Even to a point where you want to change your dream because the process is very difficult. Thinking positive can take all those negative thoughts away, making you have a better chance of achieving your dream. It gives you more confidence to face the obstacles in your way and reach to your dream. Just imagining it gives me joy in my heart and warmth in my soul. Thinking about the benefits can really make you positive for any dream. Whether its being a doctor, saving lives is a priority for every doctor, saving a life makes you very happy resulting in loving your job even more. Giving up or doubting yourself is a sign of negativity, never giving up and being confident on every move you make is a sign of being positive. Never give up on what your dream is because being positive on the way is a result of success.

7. Be Humble

8. Be Still
Image result for being stillIt sounds a little confusing, actually it looks very hard to explain. We all know what being still means in general but in this case, I'm getting there. Being still can really make you focus better than going wild. Staying still for a second can really make you have more concentration. For now, I'm going to provide some examples for the benefits of being still. Keep twitching and you won't hit anything with that bow, be still and concentration. If you are running around you won't hear the sound of the wilderness, be still and you can hear how beautiful it sounds. If you keep moving around, I can't fix your teeth, be still and I promise you that you will have a beautiful smile. Also be still can mean another thing like being patient. Little kids do tend to play around a lot and are all energetic. Once they little kids are still, it's like peace and tranquility for the parents. The kids may not get it, but once they get older and be still, the will finally enjoy the quietness and peace around them. Me, I'm trying to be still from getting out of the class, but being still means greatness is waiting to happen.

9 ways reflection
The 9 way's reflection are really true indeed. The fact that there are 9 ways to help your you and the people around you for life. Making yourself have a better image on yourself. I've tried at least some ways, but not all of them. Maybe I should put that in my life planning goals journal as a goal. To do and master the 9 ways very often, that it becomes second nature. By that, I mean it occurs to me to choose the right every time.

End of Year Results

Before summer started I finally found an Amazing place to do mixed martial arts. I was practicing and practicing that sooner or later I had this habit of putting up my fists and getting ready to spar. I noticed that I was being more used to the exercises and drills without asking a lot of questions. Now I'm willing to learn whatever I can to protect my family in general. Plus I'm going to be a police officer someday so I will need to know self defense. Right when summer started we went on a family trip to Oregon to see my Aunt Alma, she is still managing well with her life and her kids. We had a lot of fun visiting other families and friends over there. I saw my cousins since I was 8 years old now grown and different. We went to lakes and let me tell you, up in Oregon the water is very cold and even if it is summer. I was freezing and my cousin that lives there Victor, he had no problem against the cold, lucky kid. I got to see how his older sisters are doing to, one has here own place and a baby boy, the other is going to military school. I can't say exactly what she did but she did do bad things during school. She already as we speak and I hope she will be okay. She wasn't so sad when she said she was going there, she was kinda happy because it gives her a chance to lose weight. The Road back was very long and boring, but on the state Oregon are beautiful forests, beautiful lakes, cold temperature, and a safe environment for families. Then summer school started since I only been there for only a week and then back, and you know how that goes.

Class Evaluation   What I liked about the class was the nice atmosphere in the classroom which was wonderful, nice people, kind teacher...
